YOU ARE ONE MASSAGE AWAY FROM A GOOD MOOD.
It is the foundation of several types of massages. This massage uses firm and slow long strokes in the direction of the blood flow towards the heart. I use techniques such as tapping, frictions, kneading and vibration which help to loosen up and relax the muscles.
This massage is designed to stimulate blood circulation and the lymphatic system, as well as release tight muscles, restore range of motion and relieve pain.
Swedish massage will calm your nervous system and promote a sense of relaxation and wellbeing, reducing anxiety and tension in the body.
“Wisdom is to the mind what health is to the body.”
— Francois de la Rochefoucauld
touch and massage stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's natural pain killers.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue is a variation to the Swedish massage and focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibres of the muscle, tendons and fascia.
Deep tissue massage is a particularly effective massage for people with muscular pain and who enjoys a firmer deeper stimulation.
